Upon looking at your work, I found the ground is separate from the character visually. What do I mean by this? I looked at the ground and then the girl without my peripheral vision connecting the two. Also your character looks centred and from what I know that's not good. So, what I did was bring the character a bit low and to the right. With this change I made I find it easier for my eyes to transition from the ground to the character and I can see the character in my peripheral when looking at the ground.
