Hey! One thing I’d recommend here is having better control over hard and soft edges, and the silhouette in general. Right now, almost everything has the same level of focus. To make the piece feel cleaner and more appealing, some areas should fade out softly (less important areas, like the handle), while others should stay very defined, such as the head of the hammer. There are also a few things you could add to make the material feel more realistic, like bounce light, ambient occlusion, and so on. For example, the bounce light shouldn’t be stronger than the areas directly hit by the main light source. The side plane of the hammer shouldn’t appear brighter than the top plane receiving the direct light. You could also add darker areas underneath the hammer where the light barely reaches, helping reinforce the ambient occlusion. Overall, the image feels a bit too bright. Realistic metal usually needs some darker values and tones so the highlights can actually feel bright by comparison. Hope this helps!
