However, one thing that could really help improve the composition is the storytelling. Think about how you can better communicate the character’s story. For example: why is the character holding a scythe? What happened before this moment? Maybe they used it to cut something? Try asking yourself these questions: What? Why? and How? Answering those questions can help you create stronger storytelling, which in turn will improve the overall composition of the illustration.
