Hey! It looks incredible so far! Really great work here One of the hardest things about illustrations is knowing when to stop working on them (it happens to me all the time). But if you want to polish the piece further, I’d recommend focusing only on the focal points. In this case, those would be the dragon’s face, part of the neck (like you already did with the scales), the hand, and the foreground area. You can keep the rest a bit rougher, or even simplify it into more graphic shapes with only slight blending between light and shadow, without rendering everything too heavily. I also reduced the overall values of the image a bit more because the scene felt slightly too bright to me. Lowering the values in the body, wings, and less important areas helps the key elements — like the head, the hand, and even the knight, stand out much more. Another thing worth mentioning is that you should try to paint up to the point where you feel you’re doing it well, or up to the limit of your current ability. That’s completely okay. On the next illustration, you’ll improve the parts that were difficult for you in this one. Hope this helps! :)
