Hey! Nice design! I really like the shoulder pads and the arm protection with those spikes The main thing I’d suggest is varying the size of the spikes, right now they’re all pretty similar, so mixing in some smaller and larger ones would make the design more dynamic and less repetitive. Another idea could be to make the character’s right shoulder pad larger. That way you create better contrast, while keeping the other shoulder (the one holding the sword) smaller. You could also do a simple light and shadow pass. This would give you a solid foundation to keep painting, whether you focus on midtones, push highlights, or add things like ambient occlusion. It’ll help bring more volume to the character :) If you prefer to keep the lighting simple or flat, you can instead push your line quality, using thicker lines in important areas or where forms overlap, and thinner lines for internal details or less important areas.
