Hello there! You did a great job overall! Just a few small details would help bring it a bit closer to the reference from Sinix (I love his work, by the way). The main thing is the skin tone. In your painting it felt a little muted or slightly pale. What it’s missing are some warmer orange tones so it matches the skin tone in the reference more closely. Another thing is the shadow cast by the eyelid over the eye, it could be defined a bit more. If you look at the reference, Sinix tends to use stronger edges and slightly darker values there. The same applies to the left side of the eye, which could be just a bit darker as well. Speaking of the eyelid, the crease that forms in that area wasn’t painted, and that’s an important feature when painting eyes. There are also a few smaller details, like the pupil being slightly large, and the small highlights in the tear duct area. That said, the goal isn’t to imitate the reference 100%. As long as you learned Sinix's painting approach, his use of color, and you’re able to apply those ideas to your own illustration or to a different reference, then you’ve done it right. Hope this helps!
