Hey there! This looks amazing! Just a few small adjustments could help improve the illustration. First of all, you need to separate the BG, MG, and FG planes a bit more, since the values between them are very similar right now. Because of that, some of the depth gets lost. The mountains will obviously be your background, so it would help to add more atmospheric perspective by slightly increasing the brightness coming from behind the character. Your character with the sword will be in the midground. To help address the depth issue, you could use a soft light layer and subtly add a bluish, yellowish tone, just as a quick way to separate the planes at first. After that, you can continue refining that area. You could also make the character slightly smaller to create a stronger sense of distance between the foreground character and him. I also darkened the upper-right gear a bit. The light wouldn’t directly affect the front of it, and this also helps the sword that passes in front of the gear stand out more. Lastly, try darkening your foreground a bit more and move the character slightly to the right, since they’re currently positioned very close to the edge of the canvas. Hope this helps! You’re doing a great job! :D
