Good work on the structure and shape, I just tweaked it ever so slightly. I would say don't be afraid of darker shadows, the only other thing I've done to this illustration, is adding a multiply layer on top. Really thinking about the structure of the face and where the light is coming from. A simple shadow layer can add a lot of three-dimensionality to your paintings. Study the skull and adding light to simpler 3D shapes (Spheres, cubes, etc.). Talk to yourself while you do the painting about your choices while painting. Great work keep going!

Hey yall! Long time Artwod user, first time feedback submitter! So I've been trying to improve my color/light skills for a bit now since that's my biggest weakness in art. Up till this point I only really do sketches/lineart but I want to break out of that and level up as an artist. Did this piece over the course of a week while experimenting with color and some different brushes. Any help is appreciated, but I'm aware of the lack of a consistent light source and am also wondering if my colors could be better.
