I want to make my career in art but i have no professional degree . I want to do diploma or certification, but I'm not sure am i suitable for this field or not that's why I'm posting one of my artwork so that i can get feedback only then i will decide if i should painting or portrait learn or drop the plan

Need help about coloring

I try to make the lower part an look like the wave robe that spiraling around him (the orange rope is part of the robe) but i don't think I did the wave color right. Please help me about color. If you see other spots please feel free to correct me I really need guidance.
