Hey there! I absolutely love the brushwork you've done here; very impressive! You'll notice that the upper part of the eye sits roughly where the upper curve of the nose begins, as shown in the reference image I added. Likewise, the lower part of the eye aligns approximately with the nasal bone. I think keeping these landmarks in mind could give you a better idea of where to place the eyes. :) On another note, I'd only work a bit more on introducing a few stronger edges to create better contrast and help guide the viewer's attention toward the focal area.
