Hey! Good work here. However, what I highly recommend is studying head structure. Even if your goal is to draw anime, having an understanding of realistic head structure and proportions is essential, because it allows you to later draw any style more effectively, since stylization is essentially just manipulating proportions and simplifying forms. But if we don’t understand the fundamentals first, it becomes much harder to intentionally manipulate those proportions. Notice that in your drawing, the ear is much too small, while the eyes are very large (even though anime eyes are often exaggerated like that hehe). The head also feels a bit flat because it isn’t fully following proper structure and perspective. Take a look at my example, the structure is more solid, and that creates a much better foundation for placing and drawing the facial features more effectively. Hope this helps! :) | Artwod Feedback
