Hey! I like this illustration so much so far! :D This works really well conceptually, but right now it’s not fully separated visually. Both sides share a lot of orange/red, and the character on the right still has relatively warm colors, when it should really communicate the opposite of the character on the left, who is clearly warmer. So the first thing to adjust is the color temperature. Push the right side toward cooler hues like blues, purples, and cyan, while keeping the warm oranges on the left. Try to keep the left side more saturated, and the right side less saturated. Regarding values: The left side is working well overall, although you could darken the character slightly to enhance the dark-against-light contrast and make the silhouette stand out more. On the right side, however, the figure gets lost against the background because there isn’t enough separation. The figure sits in a mid-range of values, similar to the background. So, push the figure darker and increase the brightness of the red-bluish background, this will help the silhouette stand out more. Something interesting you could add is background silhouettes, as if the character were inside a cave, contrasting the outdoor mountain setting on the left. This would help avoid an empty space and also balance the composition a bit more. Hope this helps!
