Hey! Great work here! :D I really like the mood of your illustration! Just a few points to adjust that I think could help improve it: First of all, try adjusting the values a bit since many of them are quite dark, which makes it difficult to read the silhouette of the character’s hands. Because of that, you could imagine the light coming from the center reaching the extremities, slightly brightening the background so the hands become more readable. Also, even though you want the body to remain dark, keep in mind that the light coming from the eye would still illuminate the arms. So the sides that are exposed to that light source should receive some light. Think about drawing clearer hand shapes! You could also simplify the sky a bit and create groups of clouds that help guide the viewer’s eye toward the character. Try to avoid painting areas that are completely black like before. Lastly, add a bit of glow around the eye to reinforce that luminous effect, which I believe was your intention. Hope this helps!
