Hi, what i would do is first draw the axis lines of the ellipses and the axis line of the rectangle, that will help you with symmetry and how open or closed it needs to be. There is a grind node on section one of the intro to drawing that focus on drawing ellipses with different levels of openness that will help you to improve ellipse accuracy. Also if you draw the bottom ellipse lightly and only darken the end of the cylinder, you will get much more accurate results than trying to do half of a ellipse freehand. Hope i could be of help.

Just wanted to know how I did, drawing this cylinder. Been working through the intro to perspective section slowly. I guess I've been having a hard time drawing ellipses in perspective without making them too pointy or too round. And drawing the bottom of the cylinder is difficult too. If I make it too round it looks off, but too straight and it looks flat. Don't know the proper (balance. I'm assuming I'll get better with practice, though I wouldn't mind some tips that might make tackling them a bit easier.
