super cute oc design! since im not entirely sure how the highlighted green section works. i didn't draw it, but i dont think that means it should be omitted from the design, im just not skilled enough one thing that helps me understand folds is thinking about the gravity direction and the object that the cloth is wrapping around. i can tell you understand this in the case of your coat wrapping around the arms and the sleeves, but i recommend you try thinking about how that interacts with the rest of the arm + the torso! also, i personally took a reference image of me in a robe, this way i could see a 3D example of how clothing functions when i draw cloth, i try to think about shapes like cylinders for the arms, that helps me draw my fold lines in a more 'circular' motion since im following the direction of imagined cylinders my main goal in my corrections is to show that the subject is 3D, i mostly thought about how the cloth interacted with the arms, which also helped me pinpoint the back as i wanted the arms to hold up the cloth, hence the downward 'slouch' in the back i hope this helps a bit!! cloth is hard for me too.. and i dont think my advice covers everything but i wanted to give my one observation, unrelated but i really like your color choice with your character, good luck with the robe! | Artwod Feedback
