shadow mapping

Hey guys, so i made this drawing using anime production-style shadow mapping. Wanted to have the light coming from the bottom to the right. Did i manage to pull it off? How'd i do on defining the form? Please let me know!

Telephone Nene Art

The anatomy, especially the anaomy of the arms and hands are so off and I’m pretty sure the skirt is also not in the same perspective. I also don’t know how to fix the side of the face near the telephone because it isn’t quite anatomically correct and looks very flat. Drawing is on the right and references on the left

Why can’t I save her?

The proportions on the face look wrong, kyubey I’m the background doesn’t look quite right, and it just looks off. Any advice on how to better color or study proportions? How do I work with color theory?

Painting practice

I’m trying to improve my edge control and understand the planes of the face better. Likeness was not my priority here but I would appreciate any other feedback.
