Hey! Remember to always keep the vanishing points of your boxes in mind, whether you’re using one-point, two-point, or three-point perspective. Parallel lines should always converge toward their respective vanishing points. As for drawing boxes from different angles: Something that personally helps me is drawing the “L” shape of the box first (like in the examples on the left), which helps me establish the box’s angle or rotation. From there, I simply build out the rest. If you’re adding a third vanishing point, experiment with placing that point either very close to or far away from the box. At the end of the day, it’s all about experimentation. Think about questions like: How far or close are the boxes to the horizon line? Are they above or below the horizon line? How dramatic is the perspective distortion? Asking yourself these kinds of questions will help you become much more comfortable with these exercises. For the boxes at the bottom, the middle box was my main starting point. Then I asked myself how it would look if the side plane became the new front plane, which gave me the foundation needed to rotate the box (the box on the right). Hope this helps! | Artwod Feedback
