I really like what you’ve done so far, and you have a solid grasp of inking The only thing I’d suggest is adding a gray tone to help imply volume and reinforce the areas where you used hatching. I’ve seen a lot of comic artists do this to avoid having illustrations with only two value tones, and as I mentioned, it also helps give more volume to the characters and objects. Just make sure to keep the light direction in mind so the effect feels more intentional. For example, you could add the shadows as if the light were coming from the upper-left side.
