Day 11

June 30 Sketchbook Pages Challenge Day 11
Today started as a figure practice, because I couldn't decide what to draw. The session eventually turned into fanart of Fio from the game Metal Slug. I had a lot of fun drawing these! One problem here is the pose of the top figure. I think the pinch of the hip looks a bit awkward. Did I push it too much? Also the stance is balanced I think, but a little awkwardly wide. I am also unsure if the proportions are working on both figures. They look good to me, but I would love feedback on that.

Rendering Practice
I’m unsure of how the blocked lighting is looking for this piece, I’m trying to push myself to render my pieces instead of just cel shading it.

St John's Renfield Church
Pencil sketch done on location in Glasgow then fineliner at home. I am not sure if I should continue rendering.

Randomn
I wanted to stop scribbling when using ink pen and draw better and confident lines ..but didn't go well

Day 9 Sketchbook Dragon
I seem to have so little time to polish these sketches. To make a new sketch every day. normally I would just work on an older sketch for several day, but I am trying to just draw new stuff at least. .. 2 days behind tho

sketch 10 - Future Cowboy
A futuristic cowboy concept I made before work.

Daily sketch page, day 11
Struggling with motivation ._.

pelvis presley
I kinda forgot how to draw pelvises lol, so i studied them yesterday to deepen my knowlege on bone references. I used morpho and sketchfab for capturing it in different angles. That's where i struggled the most. It's such a tricky form to draw! If anyone can give some pointers, that would be great, thanks!
