I love that youre doin some planning before going right into the painting....i like the linear stuff you got going on. With the value blocking you might want to try integrating a smaller block of dark value to create some balance. Its quite heavy in the bottom right. It doesnt have to be as big..a small medium and large area might be all you need. Another thought might be to work the perspective in a way where the lady in the bottom right had more of her sillouette visible...that might look like simply trimming off some of that ground cover. Or throw a shadow shape under the furthest tree to the left of that second character in the middle. Just some ideas. So many ways you can mess around to make the composition a bit more interesting.
