I like your design, especially the little guy he has a lot of movement in his pose. The big guy is pretty stiff, and could use some dynamics in his pose. He also looks like he is missing a midsection, so be aware of your anatomy. I did a quick sketch to show you what I mean, I hope it helps :)

I am struggling with making metal look like… well, metal, and would like some tips on how to make objects look more metallic. I also think that the poses could use some more style? I.e. “Chopper” (the big guy with the sword) looks very stiff in my opinion and needs to loosen up somehow.

WIP

Im struggling in terms of the shadows! In terms of cel-shade I feel like it doesn't wrap around the form and that it looks strange, but I can't pin point exactly why and how to fix it. Please don't mind the wip!

Hi there, this is my first time sharing here. I don’t know if I can share my study works instead of “finished artworks” (I hope so), but i need to ask for advices to go forward with the beginner paths and improving with perspective, proportions, gestures etc. As you can see I’m trying to build mannequins but they seem not as believable as I’m looking for and every time I draw one of them I don’t know where to start to improve. Until now I was thinking that is because I didn’t understand the theory of perspective, but when I go back to the perspective exercises I’m able to do those, so I think the issues occurs when I don’t have the perspective grids and the body with the natural gesture make me confused by no longer having “solid references”. Looking forward to have some advices to improve it, thanks

Dress drapes

I'm having trouble creating the "spiky drapes" at the end of her dress, especially at the front ; also the skirt is meant to be very tight around the thighs and pelvis/waist, are the lines right here ?
