hey, So, I don’t necessarily think that your drawings look flat. I just think you have a lack of anatomical knowledge, which is why you sometimes hatch in the wrong direction. For example, on the person on the right, look at the left thigh. I would recommend studying anatomy more and breaking down the muscles into simple forms, so it’s easier to understand the direction of the forms and hatch them accordingly. Also, only hatch when you understand the form you’re trying to describe unless it will just look like random lines. As for the point that the drawings look lifeless, I would recommend drawing the faces in more detail. However, since these drawings look more like posing/ anatomie sketches/practice drawings, I don’t think focusing on making them look more lifelike is necessary yet. | Artwod Feedback
