Hi hi!! Some tips I wanna give are giving your characters a certain expression or body action that represents not just the action but the person themselves. I do think your hatching could use some work but its not that bad! you simply need to know when to stop the shadow and how to tighten your lines to convey different lighting. You're doing amazing David! Keep going!!

I think the hatching is wrong,they are flat and they still feel life less ig?
