Hey! I really love this character design. The combination of the rocker aesthetic with the giant shadow demon is super cool, and your purple-and-black color palette is really striking! To help push the design a bit further, I did a quick paintover focusing on a few specific areas: Matching the Sketches (Youthfulness): I noticed that your concept sketches on the right have a really fun, youthful, and expressive energy to them. In the main illustration, her facial structure aged her up just a bit. In the paintover, I softened her jawline and rounded her features to bring that awesome youthful energy from your sketches directly into the final piece. Lighting & Separation: Since you are working with a lot of dark tones (the black clothing, the dark guitar, and the shadow monster), the shapes can easily bleed into one another. I added a cool cyan rim light to the edges of the character and the monster. This complementary color really helps separate their silhouettes and makes the 3D forms pop! Magical Aura: I gave the shadow demon a bit of a glowing, smoky purple aura. Breaking up those hard edges makes the creature feel more ethereal and magical, rather than just a solid mass behind her.
