It's good to practice something you're not good in! Digital art is often making use of layers and layer adjustments. A layer adjustment is a way for the layer to affect whats under that layer. It simulates light/absence of light. On your first layer you make your sketch, then you could make a new layer on top of that to make a better sketch or lineart. I skipped that step here On 2nd layer under lineart you do the block out of flat colors. Those are usually the colors unaffected by light. In between on your third layer you can either draw light or shadow on you flats. I did shadow. I picked a purple and colored everywhere i thought shadow would be. Set it to layeradjustment multiply 30%. Play with different colors and approaches! Anatomy wise the elbow was quite low on the left arm. It should be around the bellybutton.
