Ahh that's a fun character! :) I think if you'd like to make it better, you could practice drawing forms and learning anatomy afterwards. I'm a student here as well and went through the beginner road, and just finished the anatomy course. And found it all super helpful in making drawings feel a bit more solid, if that's the type of thing you're interested in too! I added some more form to your sketch. Also, I think a fun part about character design is figuring out who that character sort of is and how we'd like them to be perceived. In this case, it could be fun to explore if she also has elements of the puppet to her designs (joints, nuts, bolts, seams etc.) And we can allude that maybe she had a tragic past where she was controlled as a puppet herself! Her puppets could also have personalities and be posed for what your story requires. Also thinking about whether this character is sweet, or manic, or stoic. If the character is meant to be intimidating or antagonistic etc. All of that and more can inform your design choices! Currently, it seems like she might be on the nice side as a person? This is a very fun idea and excited to see where you would take it! :) | Artwod Feedback
