Hi, to bring volume to your painting you need to think about frrms, like cylinders, and try to indentify where such forms might exist , since snow accumulates and moves. To have volume use gradients or in breader terms hue shifts, where you stay in value range, but change color and saturation. Overall in your painting there is a bit to strong contrast betweenn light and shadow, the setting that you are referencing is golden hour, where sun is much lower in intensity.
