Hi, when drawing the eye, you already correctly indicated with shadows that there is some roundness to it, as it is a ball sitting in a socket. When drawing the eyelids, these need to follow the same rounded shape though, and this is where your drawing feels more flat. Try to have the lower eyelid fold under teh upper eyelid at the corners, and remember to give the eyelids some thickness as well, as they are not paper thin. Usually you can see the depth of one eyelid and a little bit of the volume of the other one, depending on the angle that you're looking from. The iris shouldalso be as close to a circle that you can draw if drawn front on. A little trick to make the eye seem more lively and real is to add a small highlight to the tearduct, as it is its own rounded shape, and an even smaller one to the eyelid itself. Don't forget that the eye is much bigger and extends further top and bottom underneath the skin, and it sits in a socket deeper in the skull, so there should be more shadow shapes indicating exactly these forms.
