Hey! Drawing hands is always challenging, but you’re doing well. What I’d recommend is learning how to simplify the hand, whether as a mitten shape or using basic forms like boxes and cylinders. This can help tremendously with understanding the overall structure of the hand and also with solving perspective more effectively. For example: In the lower hand drawing, the index finger appears broken because it’s the only finger rotated about 90 degrees, which is technically impossible—fingers don’t rotate sideways like that. What I did first was draw a mitten shape to establish the overall hand form (using my own hand as a reference, of course). Notice that the fingers aren’t perfectly aligned; instead, they naturally form a slight diagonal. After that, I built the hand using simple forms, especially cylinders, to correctly place the index finger in perspective. Once that structure was established, I simply refined the drawing. This approach makes the hand feel much more believable. Hope this helps!
