Hey! Regarding sharing your work: There isn’t an official or exclusive channel on Discord for these challenges, so you could share your final result in “Shameless Spam” and mention that you made it for the weekly challenge. As for the design: I like the idea, but you need to implement the axolotl’s shape language into the chameleon more effectively. One of the most iconic features of an axolotl is its external gills, which is something you could push further in your Pokémon design. Remember to maintain a 70–30% or 80–20% ratio. The larger percentage should represent the main theme (the chameleon), while the smaller percentage represents the secondary shape language you want to incorporate (the axolotl). I sketched a few quick ideas, for example, adding the gills around the head of the chameleon, which I think could be interesting while following the logic of how axolotl gills are structured. The key point is that you need to repeat the secondary shape language throughout the main subject to create a more compelling design. Otherwise, it mostly reads as a conventional chameleon. You could even add those gills along the back, almost like fins that extend toward the tail (although you might need to draw your Pokémon from a different angle to make that work). Or another simpler option is to keep the camaleon as you did, but use the colors of the axolotl. Using the colors is another way to implement the design of one thing into the main object.
