Hey there! I absolutely love your character! The Scottish-inspired outfit and the eagle (or creature) motif at the bottom look fantastic! Although I think it would look even cooler if that shape were incorporated into the character's shoulder armor. I feel like it would help unify the design and make it feel more cohesive. As for the lighting, I didn't make many changes since the foundation is already solid. I simply increased the illumination on the face a bit, both from the main light source and from the light coming from the little dragon on the book. I also deepened some of the shadow areas to create stronger contrast, painted a cast shadow on the ground, and added a bit of candlelight influence in the lower portion of the scene.
