With that in mind, I refined the shadows around that area to give the character more volume and form. You'll also notice that I introduced some bluish tones in areas exposed to the environment. This is meant to represent moonlight, and it helps certain areas feel less flat while adding more color variation to the lighting. I also painted a bit of rim light on the hand, assuming the light is coming from the object attached to the belt. This is useful because it helps separate the hand from the body, making the silhouette easier to read. I darkened the foreground a little more to add depth, while painting only the contours with a purple tone to subtly suggest additional volume.
