Hello ! Here are my tips on stylization : All master of style, from dragon ball to samurai jack have a deep and solid understanding of anatomy. Knowing the human form, at the very last in basic shapes (like we are learning here at Artwod) is a strong start, because you can then chose to exagerate, adjust, simplify or complexify these forms. Linework and color are of course important, but it comes after that first phase of establishing a solid form for your subject. Observation is key ! Take the time to look at how caricaturists (they are very good at identifying what makes a person looks like themselves) or stylistic people from work that inspires you : what decisions do they make ? what proportions do they adjust, what shapes are they using ? Good work on your bard, and that raptor look like he's having a good time ! :D
