Great work so far! I really like the direction you're taking with your Don Quixote design. The main thing that caught my attention was the spear. At the moment, its placement feels a little unclear, as it appears to float behind the character. I think it would read better if it became part of the overall silhouette and followed the flow of the pose more closely. I also prefer portraying Don Quixote as an idealistic and charismatic knight rather than a threatening one. Small changes in the way props are presented can help reinforce that side of his personality. The flower is a nice storytelling element and adds charm to the design. You could push that idea even further if you'd like, although I also like the direction you've chosen. One small detail I think would be fun is giving his mustache a slightly singed look. I'd also recommend paying a bit more attention to the character's proportions and perspective. Some of the forms feel slightly misaligned, and a few of the armor pieces read somewhat flat. Remember that armor should clearly describe the underlying forms, so emphasizing its volume will make the design feel much more convincing. Overall, I really like the concept. Keep pushing the gesture and storytelling aspects of the design, they're already heading in a very interesting direction. Thanks for sharing your work!
