The main thing you gotta remember is that the upper arm part(from shoulder to elbow) ends almost at the top of the pelvis, so it should be a bit longer. You easily can test it my by pressing your elbow to your body and feel the length of your upper arm. Then I tried two poses: in the first one played into the trope of a "shy boy", the shoulders remained like in the og, a bit up, pressing to the body, but had to sacrifice the bend of the arms, now they're straight, looking down, pressed to the body just as well. Maybe what bade you bend is arms a bit was the thing you would've had to draw an unnecessary part, but you got tot learn to draw even what you don't enjoy to get the result you want. In the second pose I left the main idea alone, just longer upper arm part and his right shoulder (with the cardigan on) I lowered for a more relaxed pose so the shoulders are on the same level. My little tip is that no one takes a pose or looks like something just because of nothing, everything has a little story behind it. Even if it's for the sake of good looks, it means the character cares, but cares in which way? Then it's going to be represented by the face and emotions, is it a natural pose they're taking or they're uncomfortable. Because his style of dressing and face say one thing while his arms tell another. He's shy, by holding up his bag like trying to show off a bit (not in a bad way). Maybe in a duo, where he show's his it's bag to a friend, but as he's alone, and seems like a character sheet, I would recommend to lower his arm actually. | Artwod Feedback
