Hi, I hope I can help with a few tips I've learned. First off, I want to start by mentioning how well you've managed to keep the face symmetrical. The head-on pov is quite difficult and also how you connected the neck with the shoulders. It's hard to learn and you did it great. Well done. For the eyes: 1- The eye has realistically has edges and faces like the blue lines show. In your style it's often not needed to know all of that, but it could inform how you stylize shading, eyelashes, give different characters different eye shapes etc... 2- we often don't see the full pupil unless the characters eyes are wide open and looking straight which looks very SURPRISED so you can save that for when you want to draw that emotion. Otherwise, it's more natural to have around 1/4 or 1/3 of the pupil hidden especially in tired eyes or dramatic angles. 3- I noticed that your drew the angle of the top eyelid and bottom eyelid to be diagonal to each other rather than horizontal to each other which is perfect. I would like to say that curving the bottom eyelid makes the eye less mechanical, more soft and natural. If this is just your style though, keep going. Hat: 1- cowboy hats are a very difficult shape to draw tbh. If you find it to be a struggle, I suggest trying to draw primitive shapes and bend them (like the papers I drew under it) that way you can learn to move and bend object as practice. 2- The brim of a hat follows the curvature of the face and head 3- extra tip. Make sure your hats are large enough to fit the characters head rather just sit on top. It's so easy to forget that but it makes the hat look instantly better. Hope that helped and wasn't too much.
