maybe use fewer, thicker cracks radiating from the fist with a clearer glow, so the punch reads before the effect details.

I went for an easy Blackbeard drawing with the Gura Gura effect but the whole thing looks messy. The power effect doesnt really feel like its breaking anything and his pose is kinda stiff. Any feedback on what to fix first? trying to learn how these effects work and share my art progress through this art workout
