drawing anime characters, specifically the design should look better and more unique and more anime looking.

My anime sketch looks okay. You can't tell the character design is an elf. Not sure what more to add, or what approach to take with the eyes. How can i make the colors less dull. What else would make it better? Feedback appreciated. Using colored pencils.
