maybe block the chest and upper arms as round forms first, then wrap the hood and sleeves around them so the hoodie follows the body instead of reading like a box.

I’m trying to sketch an anime character in a hoodie but it just looks like a giant box around the body. My form and volume are off, especially around the hood and sleeves. Using digital art, would appreciate some feedback
