Hi there, That’s actually a pretty good doodle. I like the expression you’ve given the character and the overall pose. For the shaky lines it really just comes down to practice. If you’re new to digital drawing then it does take a little time to get used to how the stylus and drawing apps work. There are lots of different exercises you can do to help improve your pen control. Things like drawing dots on the page and then connecting those dots with a single straight line. Practicing drawing straight and curved lines, making them go thin to thick or thick to thin. You can find plenty of these exercises on YouTube, TikTok or just by googling. Some general tips for better lines is to try to keep your fingers and wrist locked and draw with your arm. Also ‘ghosting’ your lines is a good habit to build up. Practice be going over the line with the pen just above the page a few times before you commit to the line. Kind of like how a pro golfer will practice their swing a few times before stepping up to the ball. As for your other concern, it’s not really anatomy, it’s form. Anatomy is details, things like muscles and connections points. I think you need to focus more on the underlying structure of what you’re drawing. Proper form and perspective will help you keep your characters proportional and will give you a solid foundation to lay details on top of. So for example, I moved the characters right arm because his shoulder was a bit too long on that side compared to their other shoulder. | Artwod Feedback
