i like your use of guide lines! Keep practicing and learning them. Probably look into some Reilly rhythms as well. I think you main issue is you're pushing the cheek out too far. The cheek should pretty much only go as far as the brow ridge but even then, I'd keep the cheek slightly less protruded. The other issue is the turning of the face. It seems like you're trying to turn the face, but the eyes are flattening out which makes the face feel flat and slanted. Keep in mind the 3D form of all the features. If you're trying to capture the umamusume style, I would do some construction tracings over screenshots of the characters and then practice drawing them from scratch. | Artwod Feedback
