I'm trying to draw the spear for my character, and I wanted it to have foreshortening as if the spear is really close to the camera. I redid it a few times, but I'm still struggling to balance the foreshortening while making it readable that it's a spear (a very long weapon, almost as long as the character's height). I tried a cylinder as a guideline, but when I try to draw the pointy head, it never feels to match the perspective. I'd appreciate any help on how to draw forms in extreme perspective.
