Hello ! First of all, very nice monster, Proportions looks pretty good, rythm and silhouette are pretty nice as well, and your beast looks like it came straight out of a 30's movie. Frontier between concept and illustration is always a great challenge when starting in drawing characters. Concept is a more simple form of the illustration and will always tend to figure out the design of your character and it's purpose more than render every aspect of the drawing. Base on the idea (description) you came up with for your monster, you start doing iterations and research in order to come with the more interesting designs. (ex: in here your character has fur, but could have feathers) Instead of rendering directly your character in concept, you would jump to another design as soon as you're satisfy with the exploration you just did. Regarding the perspective, I decided to draw the grid on the ground for your first view, using simple boxes to block out your character silhouette and shape. In the front view, I noticed that you could twist a bit more your character since he looks like moving. In general you did a great job, it's some adjustment here and there in order to make it look more natural. The head seemed a bit falling so I straighten it a bit, shoulders and hips look to much parallel so I gave it a bit of an asymmetry so we will have more rythm. I think overwhole you need to consolidate your perspective knowledge. You already have what it takes, you just need to fine tune. Drawing objects and forms from imagination 10 minutes every day in order to ease the process so when you'll work on your personnal pieces you will have less friction to draw down the basic shapes of your characters. You can also try and draw those forms from imagination with a perspective grid in order to better understand the relation between your perspective and the form you're drawing. Hope this feedback was usefull, don't hesitate to hit me on the Artwod Discord @ shadlow if needed I wish you a good work. Cheers !
