Hey! Nice job on this one! I'd say that the problem here is the lighting. The thing I did was to shade the front of the skater, since the light is coming from the back. I also added a cast shadow of something in the ground to stand out the silhouette, while I kept the light lit on the other side. This way, you clearly have a dark over light. You can keep the trees darker and add some lit areas at the top; this way, we keep that contrast between the character and the BG. Hope this helps! | Artwod Feedback
