hi! im just amatuer so i dont have any professional insight,i came up with following advices it would be wonderful if you find it helpful:)i can tell that the decorations on his shoulder and the belt are carefully design,so i make it more conspicuous.the gesture of his hand may imply his character ，by making it a part of the outline of the whole character makes it more visible.I suggest that you do not block the limbs when drawing character designs.（my English is poor sry）

I don't actually know what to say because I struggle with everything. Nothing is completely clear for me. If you could tell me what are mistakes here. My main goal with it is to do readable design, eye catching shapes and remeberable character. I aim in penterely stylized, dark, creative characters - Narrative art. So don't look on it with AAA eye. I don't really care about details, fully polished pieces with complicated shading.
Is my art belivable, have nice shading are good design? Is it eye catching and tell the story? (The piece isn't finished, still WiP).

June Sketch Day 8

Late post, fell asleep after got back from vacation. I drew these three from references to sharpen my visual library. Probably as much as i needed before hopping into drawing from imagination. To me, there's a lot room for improvements, because these drawing still not great. If you have any advices, truly i'd be grateful to hear it. Ignore the top left, its from yesterday :)
