i can not give you a very professional feedback since i am just starting out on faces rn, but iw ill point out what i think might be some problems. 1.your eyes look very 2dimensional, not like the spheres they are. 2. the choice of the curved plaines as a foundation for the eyes ist not the best because its far from what the underlying shape of the face is in reality, so i would suggest you to use a simplefied shape of the real face to draw your eyes on. maybe revisit the portrait roadmap on artwod to get a better understanding of how the eyes are embeded in the head ... 3. your generell understanding of form seems to lack on a few edges. your center lines(i assume they are ment to be center lines) are not in the middle of your form. so i think you should take a step back from trying to draw different eye shapes, and study form and form manipulation again( just revisit the roadmap for that). 4. get the tools for first and then work on your eyes. Hi everyone I'm studying some types of eye shape, specifically almond eyes,round eyes, hooded eyes. I've established the basic shapes ,but when It's time to give the specific shape to the lids I don't know how that manipulated shapes are gonna be from different angles. Not because I can't rotate them, but because when I draw lids of different shapes I end up with things that aren't phisically impossibile. I hope that you can understand what I mean.

Ok so a few things. First don't chicken scratch, it could just be the texture of the paper but it looks very scratchy so draw from the shoulder. Secondly, Slow Down! I've seen your other form studdies and they looked good! I think you are just drawing and thinking a bit too fast. Take a second, breathe, think, then move to put pen to paper. Its ok to draw slow! I personally draw incredibly slowly! Speed comes from experience and decision making! Third. Draw BIGGER I notice you keep drawing very small features on your planes, bump up the size really get into those forms, you wont learn from tiny drawings where your faults are. Lastly just remember you got this, if you are struggling with form manipulation its ok to revisit previous lessons. Keep it up man, this was a good try youve got this, just remember to relax, breathe, and take it slow!

I am struggling with capturing his face from my refrence, I made a mistake with choosing my reference a bit, I chose the refrence pose where the face wasn't fully visible and used other refrence for his face so I had to adjust the face angle and how he is looking at the viewer which led to facial structure changes, I can't add my reference in this site because it doesn't support more images. I want you to help me with how do I make look more like Jay.

About linework in general

I finished it by adding this little walrus imp thing. I believe this is currently the absolute limit of my abilities. If there is anything to improve in this i am currently blind to it. I see this as a problem, since if i do not recognize my mistakes i cannot improve further, therefore if anyone can poke holes in this it would be deeply appreciated. Or maybe i should just start learning values already, since linework is kinda the only thing i've ever done.

I got some feedback and tried Applying it, but my request still stands. I think it’s better now, but it could be even better, so any advice on the render or materials like the leather or the ice would help. Thanks!

Behemoth thumbnail idea

I feel like I’m struggle with a few parts to this piece. First one is just the anatomy of the giant. The stomping foot over the figure seems off or maybe it’s the alignment of the back leg. I feel like I like this angle and composition but maybe it’s not as believable as it should be? Any help would be amazing! Also I’m sure I should adjust the colors too, it’s supposed to be a snowy mountain like landscape but I didn’t really set up a good foundation to depict that.
