Painting over this drawing wouldn’t be super helpful for you as you mainly wanted rendering advice, so a lot of good it would do you for me to just render over it haha. Find artists you like and create a copy of their drawings 1:1 (i wouldn’t post these studies unless you’re asking for advice, in which case always credit the original artist). Copying their rendering and figuring out their process will teach you a lot in a short amount of time, it will really prove invaluable to you and will help you a lot to figure out how to render. That is the absolute best advice I can give you! Good luck with your art journey :)

This was a scrapped design that I still liked. The rendering on this one is better(?) than my previous attempt but still feels lacking. I want to render in a way so that I don’t leave so much line work in the piece but still show that there are folds and creases in the fabric. I use Procreate if that is important information.
