Hey there! I took Kidmoe overpaiting to paint the hair :D He did an amazing job with the skin colour and adding more volume to the character. You can focus mainly on improving the silhouette of the hair to make it more interesting. Maybe this wasn't the shape you originally intended, but personally, I really like how it looks this way. :) Once you have this base—the overall shape—you can paint the shadow shapes first, and then start adding the individual locks/strands of hair on top. This will help give the hair a more natural and believable flow, as well as a stronger sense of volume. :) I tried to maintain your same graphic style so it wouldn't end up looking too realistic (like I usually tend to paint, hehe), and instead keep it more stylized.
