i think you have a good formula going on a couple of notes. usually mouth corners are in the middle of the eye

I'm still doing studies on making portraits and trying to get the proportions and placements of features right into my head without having to rely fully on too many guidelines and constructions. So these were more done by feel. But I do feel like generally, even for a semi-stylized portrait, the head should have maybe been a tiny bit narrower and a bit 'longer'. The bare minimum of shading was done only so that this doesn't look too empty. Can you help with the proportion side of things? Danks!

Something feels off; I'm quite spotty with the hands. But I'm also a bit iffy with the feet. The shadow creature behind her has a rather stiff pose in comparison to the front character as well. Your feedback will be appreciated! :)

Character rendering and lighting

Hi, I am struggling to figure out how to shade my character and his clothes especially with the color black that I used for the jacket. I haven't really decided on a light source, but ideally it's coming from the left side of him. Considering the materials as well I wanted it to be a cloth like material for the jacket and regular jeans. I would appreciate any help and input on this thanks.
