Hi! The chest doesn’t need to move, you just need to move the centre point. The reason it looks off is you drew her sternum, which should always be in line with the centre of the chest, and then shaded the chest to the right of that. Just shade a little more to the left and it will look fine. Since you said you might try realism and the drawing is quite comic like I just fixed a few of the proportions on the arms. You should decide where your light is coming from when you shade, so that your shading can provide some clarity on the shapes and form. On the face, if you tilt the shapes to follow the direction of the jaw it will make more sense in that perspective. The ear should be lower down because of the upwards angle of the face. Another key idea is to decide the material of the dress before you draw it / add folds. At the chest area it appears thin and stretchy since it hugs her chest, sternum and pelvis meaning it is tight to her body, but at the bottom it feels drapey and thick thanks to the way it hangs. To make it feel consistent, imagine how whichever fabric you choose would realistically wrap around the forms of the body. If you want the chest, sternum and pelvis to appear as you’ve drawn it, the bottom part of the dress has to hug her form or be very thin and flappy (lots of folds and easily affected by movement and wind). Otherwise I would suggest loosening the dress around her torso and changing the cut of the neckline so the material can be consistent, but you can still have the femme fatale effect you were going for. Aside from that, if you want the dress to be tight, the folds won’t appear around and into the pelvis area bc the fabric naturally wants to hang down thanks to gravity. Instead, thin stretchy dresses will naturally fold under the chest and stomach, as that’s where the form protrudes. This also won’t show her sternum, instead it will bunch at the sides and fold around the body. In my paintover I just gave an idea for if the dress were to remain thicker, what the folds might look like. Hopefully that was helpful, good luck with your art journey :)

Not sure what to do with my shadows, should I try to stick to realism or is style and form clarity the higher priority? Also, I don't know what happened to the chest, it looked fine in the pencil sketch, but it shifted position when I tried to give it volume. >_<
